Personal Post

Last class, we were talking about Jamie Tarabay, she is the manager of editing the White House and National Security & Foreign affairs for National Journal. Firstly our home work the class before that was to read up about her and also read one of her latest post, so that when we come to class we know a little about her and her writing. Me personal chose to read her post called "A Woman's Place" it was talking about how woman in Egypt didn't have a equal voice as man in journalism, and they would get sexual abuse for them to stay inside the house and out of their husband reach. Some of my other class mates read about the war in Iraq. Also we was discussing about the website called "Wiki leaks" and if we agree with it or not, Wiki Leaks is a special website were this person post up private information about the government, I said i disagree with this website not only because it is wrong to post information about the government but if you post private information the entire world is seeing this information and also our enemies. Lastly, we were talking about a up coming major assignment that we have to do in class, it was that we are not suppose to go on any social network for two weeks and see how us teenagers would communicate, knowing my self i know i am going to have a problem with this because this is the only way i communicate with my family and friends back in Jamaica because talking on the phone is a lot of expense.
